A phone call or meeting establishes the project scope, functional and aesthetic objectives and budget are identified. My role in the project is discussed.
Upon client review and approval, specifications, product orders and construction drawings are generated as needed. Code compliance is evaluated and verified.
The project is outlined and project phases estimated with design hours required to complete the project. Prospective team members are identified (contractors, tradespeople, suppliers and additional professionals such as architects, engineers and lighting designers)
Concepts are developed then documented through drawings and online visual boards. Preliminary costs for finishes, furnishings, equipment and design implementation are established. Design ideas and product selections are refined and revised as needed.
Coordinate with contractors, installers and tradespeople to manage the execution of project elements from project installation through completion.
The design foundation is based in the creative process and translating the clients' needs from thought to reality. We move through this process in a systematic method with clear communication to manage expectations for budget, time and final result.
